Woodbury Co. Fair News Grandstand entertainment has been finalized for the Woodbury County Fair coming up August 4 to 8, 1999. Many of the favorite activities were rescheduled. Pallbearers were Ray and Dennis An- stine, Larry Mathers, Dean Bohle, Wayne and Judy Behrens. Miss Mathers was born on April 14, 1963, in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of Ronnie and Nancy (Simons) Mathers. She grew up in Kingsley. After gradu- ating from Kingsley High School, she attended WIT College in Sioux City, graduating in 1983 with a degree in nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City. She was a mem- ber of Big Brothers and Sisters and of several nursifig committees at St. Luke's Hospital. She was also a mem- ber of First United Methodist Church. She was an avid sports fan, enjoying football, basketball and baseball. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and golf. Survivors include her parents, Ronnie and Nancy Mathers of Kingsley; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Jill Mathers of Lincoln, Nebraska; grand- parents, Roy and Joyce Mathers of Kingsley; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lee and Doro- thy Simons of Kingsley.
