Card of Thanks
One big humble 'Whank You" to
God, first of all, for healing me to this
point, then to Bernard and our family
for being there with me and to the
whole community for all your prayers,
visits, phone calls, cards and gifts, care
and concern for me. "Storms are a no
lose situation for a christian" and you
are the blessing that helped me through
this storm in my life.

,We want to thank all those wonderful
folks who helped our mother in the last
few weeks of her illness. We know that
the kindness of dear neighbors and
friends added immeasurably to the
quality and comfort of mom's final
days. To all of you who visited or sent
cards, brought food, offered help or
sent memorials, we are very grateful.
Morn asked that her memorial money
be given to the Moville United Meth-
odist Church endowment fund, the
Momingside College endowment fund,
or the Moville Woman's Club Scholar-
ship fund. Very special thank yous to
Rev. Harold Werley, Dr. Robert Pew-
ell, the angels of mercy at the Kingsley
Care and Rehab Center and St. Lukes
Medical Center, and those who helped
care for morn at home.

Card of Thanks
A heartfelt thanks to God Almighty
who spared our lives Monday morning
when the semi truck took off a comer
of our bedroom. May he bless all the
volunteers who came to take care of us
and those who came with offers of food
and lodging. It would be futile to name
so many. You know who you are.
Our children are our greatest blessing.
Cindy and Gary Bogenrief came from
Hampton, Iowa and Larry Thomas
from Omaha. His wife, our daughter
Pat was working in Minot, N.D. Mike,
in North Carolina was just too far
away. Son, Bart brought us home from
our check-up at the hospital and
worked the remainder of the day per-
forming jobs that no one else could
possibly do. Some of the workers from
his company shored up our broken
walls and covered them with tarps.
Others threw debris from the house and
hauled it away. The DNR was called to
inspect the diesel fuel spill from the
truck. They answered promptly. All
insurance processes were set in motion.
One of Bart's sub-contractors, a
plumber, checked for and found gas
leaks and repaired leaking plumbing.
Lorraine Henning served dinner with
Lynette Robeson's help.
Denis and I told our story over and
over and made sure to say we know
who to thank for our miraculous sur-
vival. We hope everyone who reads
this remembers to ask for protection
from guardian angels and thanks God
for help received in every situation.
