With the coming of Spring we must
remember April showers bring May
flowers. Remember to drop of your
"shower" items for the Veterans at the
Woodbury County Library. A list is on
display at the Library with the collec-
tion box. New items only please. These
items will be delivered to the Sioux
Falls and Omaha V.A. hospitals. Our
annual reports are also due in April. I
need your help in filling these out. You
as members need to contribute your
community service hours, home service
hours, pints of blood donated, letters
written to congressmen, and any other
service Projects done. Bring this infor-
mation and your pen to our April
meeting. Many hands will make "quick
work of these reports.
Our March meeting was well attended
even though we all wanted to be at the
ball game. The radio broadcasting
helped us keep in touch with the ex-
citement. The Wildcats had a great
season in all sports and activities. It's
time to choose a Junior Girl to attend
Girl's State. Each year this is a tough
choice. Our choice will soon be re-
vealed. We also remembered two of
our members that are no longer with.
us. Penny Thomas and Irene Schmidt.
Kay and Jeannie provided the lunch
complete with a green dessert for St.
Patrick's Day. Volunteer in your com-
munity this month. Community Service
is part of our plan of work.
